About Canine Communication Canberra

Welcome to Canine Communication Canberra!  
 
I’m Tori the owner of CCC, I am a qualified dog trainer with several years experience teaching for one of Canberra’s largest daycare and training facilities, and supervising group dog play.  During this time I was lucky enough to shadow a wonderful fear free trainer on behaviour consultations, develop skills teaching large group classes of a variety of skill levels and learn a great deal about dog behaviour and body language. 

I have always had dogs growing up and like lots of trainers, my passion for training started with my own dog, Kenzie the Kelpie who is dog reactive. While working through her reactivity with a wonderful trainer I discovered my love for training. Seeing the change in her comfort levels and my relationship with her made me want to help other owners and their dogs feel the same way. 

​My latest addition to the family is Moose the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever who is quite a high drive dog, I'm having lots of fun unlocking his potential and problem solving all the things he throws at me! 
 
I am passionate about using modern science based, fear free, positive reinforcement training methods. I started CCC to provide owners and their dogs with quality dog training services to set them up for success and helping to build their relationship in a positive way. I particularly enjoy teaching group classes and helping set owners up with tools for life so they can enjoy taking their dogs on adventures with them. 
 
I hold a Certificate III in Dog Training and Behaviour and continue my learning by attend workshops and online courses as well as maintaining working relationships with other trainers in the area.
