FAQ
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN ATTEND CLASSES?
While we encourage the whole family to be involved in your dogs training so everyone is on the same page, we do try to stick to a maximum of two owners per dog where possible to reduce distractions for other class participants. Children are welcome to attend but must remain seated during training time and not disrupt the class, if they are unable to follow these instructions and are disruptive we ask that they don't attend so the puppies can get the most out of their time in classes.
What do I need to bring to class?
- Flat collar or harness and lead. Please note retractable leads are not suitable for class settings. Check chains are not permitted.
- High value treats for training. We recommend bringing a variety of high value treats like roast chicken, devon, etc. Often dry treats that work at home don’t cut it in the high distraction environment at classes.
- A mat for your dog to sit on, doesn't have to be anything fancy or large, a bath mat is perfect.
- A treat pouch is highly recommended, it makes your training much easier as you won't be trying to juggle your lead, treats and dog! It doesn't have to be an expensive or fancy pouch, a bum bag from the dollar shop will do the job.
My dog is unwell, can we still attend?
If your dog is unwell we request you keep them at home. Many illnesses affecting puppies are contagious so it’s important they stay home to avoid the risk of transmission. The health and welfare of all the dogs in our classes are the utmost priority.
If your dog is unable to attend please let us know. You are still welcome to attend without your dog to get the information or we can send through some notes about what you’ve missed.

Is my dog suitable for classes?
Our priority is to provide a safe and supportive environment for you and your dog. To be suitable:
- Your dog must be up to date with vaccinations. A copy of their vaccination certificate is required prior to attending the class.
- You must make sure you have hold of your dog's leash at all times.
- Your dog must not be aggressive towards dogs or people.
- If you are unsure if your dog is suitable for classes please reach out and we can discuss further.
